AltiGen Communications, a provider of VoIP business phone systems, has announced the availability of AltiGen's MAX Communications Server 6.5 VoIP unified communications platform.
The MAX Communications Server (MAXCS) 6.5 is an update to AltiGen's next generation full-featured VoIP phone system and Unified Communications solution designed for scalability and simplified management. MAXCS 6.5 utilizes standard Intel based servers to handle all VoIP voice processing.
Jerry Fleming, president and COO of AltiGen Communications, said: "MAX Communications Server 6.5 is an important update bringing more enterprise class PBX features to our customers. Enhanced security with native support for TLS and SRTP encryption standards will ensure our customers' conversations will remain private while our expanded third party SIP phone support and remote survivability options will continue to provide an increased return on investment to our larger, distributed customers."
