'Net Mobile boards recommend NTT DoCoMo takeover offer'

The management board and supervisory board of German mobile content distributor Net Mobile have recommended that shareholders accept a takeover offer of EUR 6.35 per share from DoCoMo Deutschland, 100 percent subsidiary of Japanese mobile operator NTT DoCoMo. They believe the offer is appropriate and in the best interests of the company, employees and shareholders. Net Mobile CEO Theodor Niehues said that gaining access to mobile content and services developed in Japan is a great business opportunity for the company. Net Mobile shareholders have until midnight on 26 October to accept the offer, which is conditional among other things on DoCoMo Deutschland acquiring at least 75 percent of the shares.
