Continent Resources to Change Name and Trading Symbol

October 9th, 2009, Vancouver, British Columbia: Continent Resources Inc. (CNSX: CTT) reports that it is changing its name to Copper One Inc. in order to better reflect the company's focus on the exploration and development of copper properties. The trading symbol for Copper One Inc. will be CUO. Trading under the new name and trading symbol is expected to commence on Tuesday October 13, 2009.

The company also reports that in connection with its name change, it is changing its corporate domicile and will become subject to the corporate laws of the Canada Business Corporations Act.
