Dell and Salesforce.com Announce Joint Offerings (DELL,CRM)

10/12/2009 - Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) and Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM) announced Monday that they have made available certified solutions offerings for medium and small businesses to deliver customer relationship management applications through cloud-computing. The joint offerings require no additional hardware or software to maintain, and will use subscription-based pricing starting at $9 per month. President of Dell's global small and medium-sized business operations Steve Felice said, aEURoeDell and salesforce.com are providing customers with an integrated and proven solution that we have been testing extensively in our own organizations . . . Today, salesforce.com runs its datacenters and PCs on Dell equipment and Dell has integrated Salesforce CRM with our on-premise applications using DellaEUR(TM)s PowerEdge servers and Dell Integration Services.
