VITEC Solutions Attains HP Consumer Class Status

VITEC Solutions ("VITEC"), a portfolio company of Empire Investment Holdings, is a single-source provider of business technology solutions and today announced that it has attained Consumer Class status with Hewlett Packard. Under this status, VITEC now has the ability to service consumer class computing and printing products that are both in and out of warranty.

"We are extremely excited to bring this opportunity to VITEC's customers," said Christian Egner, Director of Support Services at VITEC. "We have always been highly praised for our service and support, and now that we have attained Consumer Class status with HP, we are able to reach out to customers who were not able to take advantage of our services in the past."

An HP Consumer Class product is categorized as one that is readily available and used by the public. Since achieving Consumer Class status, VITEC is now authorized to perform support on Hewlett Packard units under warranty; which was a service that was previously unavailable to VITEC's customers. Some of the products that are considered to be in the consumer class are HP Pavillion Desktop PCs, HP Presario Desktop PCs, HP Pavillion Notebooks, HP Presario Notebooks, and HP DeskJet Printers. Any customer that wishes to have their product repaired should call VITEC directly to inquire about support coverage.
