Harris awarded a potential USD7.5m technical support contract for USAF Mobility Command

Communications and information technology company Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) has been awarded a potential three-year, USD7.5m contract to provide technical and support services for the US Air Force Air Mobility Command's (AMC) command and control systems.
Under the contract announced on Monday, Harris will also provide information assurance, development testing, configuration management and training.
Harris is one of three subcontractors to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) on the Applications Infrastructure and Systems Support (AISS) contract.
The AISS contract has a three-month base period with three, one-year options. Harris said that it will lead architecture planning and design, information assurance and network support.
