Solarbrook Water and Power Corporation Update on Ozone studies.
RALEIGH, NC, Oct 14, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
Company: Solarbrook Water and Power Corp (SLRW)
Solarbrook Water and Power Corporation (OTC: SLRW) announces that it is in discussions with several organizations related to ozone treatment of cooling towers. We are in the planning phase to run one study on an industrial tower to document the effectiveness of the Biotek Ozone, and Solarbrook delivery system against both chemical treatment and traditional ozone systems.
As reported by the Department of Energy, "A small amount of ozone acts as a powerful biocide that decreases or nearly eliminates the need to remove quantities of water from the cooling tower in order to decrease the concentration of organic and mineral solids in the system. Ozone treatment can also reduce the need for chemical additives added to the cooling tower water." The Solarbrook ozone delivery system will address these issues as well as the safety and efficiency issues related to ozone use. The studies on the Biotek system will test cooling tower water for buildup of bacteria, algae, Legionella pneumophila, fungi, and viruses. Studies published by the Department of Energy list savings of up to 200 percent on control studies. Typical systems in their study cost between $25,000 and $70,000 and ROI of less than a year. We hope to show the Solarbrook system will be better priced, with equal or better treatment.

George Moore CEO of Solarbrook Water and Power Corporation stated:
"The series of cooling water studies will allow Solarbrook to quantify the savings and safety benefits of the new BioTek Ozone system, and the delivery system. We feel the combination will produce environmental friendly and cost effective system with a better cost to the market."
