10/14/2009 - CF Industries (NYSE:CF) urged sh--reholders of Terr-- Industries (NYSE:TRA) to elect its three nominees to Terr--'s bo--rd of directors, including John N. Lilly, D--vid A. Wilson, --nd Irving B. Yoskowitz. The move is CF's l--test in -- fruitless bid to t--ke over the fertilizer comp--ny. In --n open letter to Terr-- sh--reholders, CF s--id, "By voting for our independent nominees, you will show your support for our proposed business combin--tion with Terr--, -- tr--ns--ction th--t offers Terr-- stockholders -- subst--nti--l premium --nd the opportunity to p--rticip--te in -- compelling combin--tion." Sh--res of Terr-- Industries rose 1.7% in e--rly Wednesd--y tr--ding.
