AT&T introduces Dell devices with in-built 3G wireless connectivity

US communications holding company AT&T (NYSE:T) announced on Wednesday the availability of devices from computer maker Dell Inc (Nasdaq:DELL) with 3G wireless built-in.
The company said US small business customers can now purchase at a discounted rate the Dell Vostro 1520 laptop, which exclusively features AT&T's embedded wireless technology.
Dell also offers several other notebooks and netbooks, including Inspiron, Latitude, Precision and XPS devices, that can be equipped with AT&T 3G embedded connectivity.
Purchasing AT&T embedded devices through Dell offers small businesses the following benefits: customisation and configuration of devices to meet computing needs; dedicated small business sales force to help determine which devices will best serve a particular business; ability to purchase as many units as needed; and 24/7 hardware tech support.
With a two-year AT&T DataConnect 5GB monthly service plan, small business customers can purchase the Dell Vostro 1520 starting at USD633 or they can get up to a USD120 discount on other Dell devices. No other pricing details were disclosed.
