SINGAPORE MINISTER TO ADDRESS AT UNVEILING OF 2009 PLATTS GLOBAL ENERGY COS

Singapore's Trade Minister to Address Executives at the Unveiling of the 2009 Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies

SINGAPORE, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --

Singapore Senior Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Education Mr. S. Iswaran will deliver the keynote address at the acclaimed Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies ranking and leadership recognition dinner in Singapore on November 16. The gathering comprises energy company top executives and will take place on the first night of Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW).

"Minister Iswaran has been a champion of Singapores growth into an energy trading center and the driving force behind the creation of Singapore International Energy Week," said Platts President Larry Neal. The Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies ranking, now in its 8th year, measures corporate leadership by examining each company's financial performance and tracking movement within the ranks of regional companies as their role in the worlds global energy sustainability equation increases.
