WEDO Tour on Oct. 16 Benefits Women Business Owners with Strategies For a Sustainable Business

The 2009 Women's Economic Development Outreach (WEDO) Tour, hosted by PNC Bank and National City Bank, now a part of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., (NYSE: PNC) will help connect women business owners and executives with the information, resources, education and people they need to grow their business.

Businesswomen will gather Oct. 16 in 11 regions, including Palm Beach, Fla., Indianapolis, Ind., Manistee, Mich., Milwaukee, Louisville, Cleveland and four Pennsylvania locations (Erie, Greensburg, Grove City and Pittsburgh). Broadcast via streaming video, the national panel for the 2009 WEDO Tour will connect hundreds of businesswomen across the United States and provide insights on how to develop strategies for a sustainable business in today's economic environment. The nascent recovery in U.S. and global economies is lifting the outlook for small and mid-sized business owners, according to the fall 2009 PNC Economic Outlook survey findings. As the U.S. economy begins a moderate recovery it is important for small business owners to focus on building sustainable business strategies.
