Avnet Electronics Marketing Tapped as Distributor for ADI Engineering

The Avnet Electronics Marketing operating group of Avnet has been named by ADI Engineering as a distributor in North America.

ADI Engineering - the Open IP ODM - provides off-the-shelf and customizable application-specific single board computers, design services, and board-level intellectual property for wireless, networking, IP media and other embedded applications in the industrial market place.

"A growing number of customers are looking to cut their design time by incorporating embedded boards or modules into their applications rather than choosing to complete board layouts themselves," said Alex Iuorio, senior vice president of supplier management for Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas.
