'Carphone Warehouse, Bebo launch online youth network in UK'

Carphone Warehouse UK has joined forces with AOL-owned social network Bebo to launch an online youth network. Th new 'begadgets' site will allow younger people to find out about the latest technology news and get involved in discussions about new technology. It is targeted at tech-savvy teens aged 13+ and includes details of new handset releases, product reviews, competitions and debates on the latest technology. It has been created within Bebo and can be accessed by both Bebo members and non-members. As the begadgets group grows, Carphone plans to invite members to participate in an exclusive youth feedback group being developed by the organisation to better understand teenage attitudes to technology.
