The 451 Group Names Joshua Corman as Research Director, Security

The 451 Group reported it has appointed Joshua Corman, most recently Principal Security Strategist at IBM Internet Security Systems, to head up its research team in the area of IT enterprise security.

As Research Director, Corman will lead the 451 security team both intellectually and operationally, with responsibility for extending and increasing the value delivered by the 451 across all client segments.

Corman has more than a decade in security and networking software, and in his previous role at IBM was responsible for driving the strategy for technologies, including secure virtualization and secure cloud computing.
