October 19, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- China Sunergy Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: CSUN) (Current Market Cap: $180. 96 Mil.) has appointed Siegfried Yi Chou Hsu as chief financial officer. Shiliang Guo, the acting CFO of China Sunergy, has resigned from the acting CFO position while remaining a director.

Hsu most recently served as VP of Structured finance and a chief advisor of the investment committee for China investment strategy at China Development Industry Bank in Taipei.

His previous positions have included CFO of Taipei-based Smart Net Technology, VP of phycos consulting in Taipei and Suzhou and the investment and investor relationship manager of United Microelectronics in Taiwan, a semiconductor foundry.

Nanjing, China-based China Sunergy is a manufacturer of solar cell products in China. China Sunergy manufactures solar cells from silicon wafers utilizing crystalline silicon solar cell technology.
