VirtualLogix appoints new CFO

VirtualLogix, a provider of virtualization technology, has appointed Bruce Jaffe as CFO responsible for all finance, human resources and operations. Mr Jaffe will report to Glenda Dorchak, CEO of the company.
Mr Jaffe most recently served for five years as vice president and CFO at LogicVision, which provides a portfolio of software products. There, Mr Jaffe was responsible for all financial operations, including SEC reporting, budgeting and forecasting, investor relations and commercial banking, as well legal, human resources and IT.
Mr Jaffe's prior experience includes senior vice president and CFO for Bell Microproducts and a long-term career in the financial path, including CFO at Bell Industries. His board experience includes outside director positions with three publicly traded companies - Pemstar, Metron Technology and Southwall Technologies.
Mr Dorchak said: "We're pleased to bring in someone of Bruce's caliber and experience in financial leadership positions to VirtualLogix. His strong background in software and the semiconductor ecosystem coupled with broad functional expertise and a track record for scaling up fast-growing companies will be highly valuable assets to help VirtualLogix execute its growth plans."
