MRV Carrier Ethernet Expert to Discuss Last Mile and Mobile Backhaul at SUPERCOMM

MRV COMMUNICATIONS, INC., today announced that its Vice President and Product Line Manager for MRV International, Zeev Draer, will moderate two panel discussions at the SUPERCOMM conference. MRV is a leading networking company with a full line of packet-optical transport (P-OTS), carrier Ethernet, 40G networking and out-of-band networking products.
On day two of the show (Oct. 22), Draer will serve as a moderator for two panel discussions on carrier Ethernet access and Ethernet-based mobile backhaul. The first panel will be a discussion of last mile solutions for Ethernet and will discuss Ethernet over fiber, Ethernet over Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH), Ethernet over copper and wireless Ethernet options. The second panel will be a discussion of the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)-22 Implementation Agreement and what it means for the mobile backhaul market.
SUPERCOMM will be held Oct. 21-23, 2009 at McCormick Place's West Hall in Chicago, Ill. During the show MRV will launch its new OptiSwitch 904-MBH carrier Ethernet demarcation device and Pro-Vision provisioning and network management platform. Exhibiting in booth #1925, MRV will also have all of its existing P-OTS, carrier Ethernet and networking solutions on display and will be giving away a Kindle eBook reader, iPod, gift cards and more throughout the show.
