Broadband wireless provider selects EXFO's VoIP service assurance solution

EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering has announced that it has been selected as supplier of a VoIP service assurance system including solutions for monitoring, diagnostics and troubleshooting for a broadband wireless provider, supporting voice, broadband and internet services.

The EXFO Service Assurance BrixCall solution was selected for several reasons - namely, its ability to correlate calls across multiple geographic locations; provide centralized management of distributed probes; and scale to a high volume of calls and monitoring locations to meet growth projections, the company said.

The company has added that the BrixCall VoIP Call Service Assurance System is an advanced VoIP monitoring solution offering call signaling and media session analysis along with a centralized correlation and analysis engine that provides a comprehensive view of live VoIP service performance to ensure service quality from the network core to customer premises.
