Home Depot Centralizes Business Intelligence Approach

Terradata Corporation (TDC) will be providing an Enterprise Data Warehouse solution to Home Depot (HD). The technology will allow the home improvement retailer to consolidate multiple business intelligence systems into one centralized location. That centralized approach should enable faster decision-making, and provide more detailed analysis of sales and inventory data.

Home Depot's Chief Information Officer said the move represents an IT improvement that will save time, and benefit the entire organization. Despite adding Home Depot as a customer, shares of Terradata were down over 2% Tuesday afternoon. Shares of Home Depot also down a little more than 2%.
