Highlighting Multimedia Games, Inc.'s ongoing success in expanding the presence of its Class III products on casino slot floors, the Company announced that it has sold to the Kalispel Tribe of Indians in Washington State 200 electronic Class III player terminals for placement at the tribe's Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Spokane, WA and that its Class III Unified Currency System ("UCS") recently went live at the property.
Multimedia Games recently installed 126 new player terminals at the Northern Quest Casino and plans to install an additional 74 units in early calendar 2010.
The new player terminals installed at Northern Quest feature a broad mix of Multimedia Games' market-proven Class III titles including Jambalaya Jackpot, Meltdown Core Reaction, Meltdown Accelerator and Queen of the Desert, all in the Company's Player HD gaming cabinet. The placement of the UCS at Northern Quest Casino marks Multimedia Games' third installation of its UCS in Washington State and will allow players at the property to seamlessly use tickets to transfer game play credits from differing gaming machines, regardless of manufacturer.
Anthony Sanfilippo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Multimedia Games, noted, "Multimedia Games is making steady progress in expanding the floor share of our Class III products as evidenced by recent placements and/or ongoing field trials in several markets for our Sport of Kings community gaming product, the Casino Commander Tournament System and for Class III video games in our Player HD cabinet. We are pleased to expand our existing relationship with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians at the Northern Quest Resort and Casino and believe this placement demonstrates increasing customer confidence in our ability to deliver innovative gaming experiences that attract and entertain slot players. Northern Quest Casino's recent gaming floor expansion and other renovations will help solidify its position as a premier entertainment destination in the inland Northwest, and we are honored to be part of this facility's significant upgrades."
Peter A. Riverso, General Manager of Northern Quest Resort & Casino noted, "As evidenced by the heightened customer experience we have created through our recent gaming floor expansion and upgrades to our amenities and offerings, we remain committed to providing our players with the very best entertainment experience in our market. This commitment extends to the gaming options available for our players and the addition of 200 new player terminals from Multimedia Games will help us achieve our goal of maintaining excellence in all product offerings. In addition, Multimedia Games' Unified Currency System is an easy to use back office system which we believe will also further improve the slot player experience."
Multimedia Games' UCS is a SAS 6.02 compliant currency system which allows a ticket from any gaming machine to also be used in any other gaming machine (no matter which manufacturer) for game play credits. UCS also allows a single point of sale to be used to redeem game vouchers and serves as a single interface to a third party redemption kiosk.
Northern Quest Resort & Casino provides economic advancement for the Kalispel Tribe as well as the entire Spokane region.
