Hamilton Sundstrand Signs Comprehensive Accessory Repair and Exchange Agreement With Air Canada

Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), has signed a 10-year Comprehensive Accessory Repair and Exchange (C.A.R.E.) agreement with Air Canada to provide component and repair services for its fleet of 18 Boeing 777 aircraft. This agreement expands Hamilton Sundstrand's C.A.R.E. presence on Boeing's 777 platform.

C.A.R.E. is a Hamilton Sundstrand aftermarket program offering long-term repair and asset management services. The program provides a flexible offering of component and repair services to meet marketplace demands as customers insist on more full service programs.

Hamilton Sundstrand has similar long-term aftermarket agreements in place with 13 of the world's 20 largest airlines.

Montreal-based Air Canada provides scheduled and charter air transportation for passengers and cargo to more than 170 destinations on five continents, including 58 communities across Canada and 57 destinations in the United States. Canada's flag carrier is the 13th largest commercial airline in the world and serves 33 million customers annually operating a modern fuel-efficient fleet with an average age of just nine years.
