(NYSE: C) trading 49,642,900 shares closing at $4.49 (up 0.9%), the SPDR Trust ETF (NYSE: SPY) trading 40,654,088 shares closing at $109.33 (up 1.0%) and Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC) trading 36,258,700 shares closing at $16.52 (up 0.1%).
Of last session's Greatest Percentage Losers, stocks taking the greatest monetary losses were led by Barclays PLC (NYSE: BCS) trading on volume of 16,500 shares (losing $8.104 billion), TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. (NASDAQ: TQNT) trading on volume of 9,452,247 shares (losing $333.0 million) and NCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR) trading on volume of 4,690,700 shares (losing $240.7 million).
Of last session's Greatest Percentage Winners, stocks making the greatest monetary gains were led by Switch & Data Facilities Co., Inc. (NASDAQ: SDXC) trading on volume of 1,592,931 shares (gaining $125.4 million), East West Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: EWBC) trading on volume of 1,596,096 shares (gaining $102.3 million) and Nature's Sunshine Products Inc. (NASDAQ: NATR) trading on volume of 1,600 shares (gaining $25.9 million).
