Global Energy Services Ltd. ("Global Energy") (GLK - TSX Venture), announces obtaining ISO 9001 certification, centralization of operations, US activity and changes in management.

Global Energy has centralized all its Activator HSP (Hydraulic Submersible Pump) assembly, testing and repair operations in Calgary at our present facility. We continue to outsource some of our components from various manufacturers who are also ISO 9001 compliant. This standard alleviates manufacturing issues and standardizes the assembly process.

Our US based joint venture has been successful in deploying pumps in the Barnett Shale play in central Texas. While de-liquefying the horizontal wells in this play has historically been very difficult, Global Energy's Activator HSP is currently pumping from greater depths at higher rates than has previously been accomplished by the industry. The result is significant production optimization and the extension of probable reserves. Global Energy technology is also being utilized in other shale plays in Oklahoma.

Clayton Hoffarth VP and CTO (Chief Technical Officer) has left the company to pursue his own objectives. We thank Mr. Hoffarth for helping grow the Activator HSP and Production Services product line and wish him the best in his future endeavours.

Global Energy is pleased to announce the General Manager of Production Services is Doug Cuthbertson, P.Eng. Doug has several years of domestic and international experience in artificial lift with oil and gas production companies and ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) manufactures.
