Sprint Live Web Chats on Green Initiatives and Device Portfolio with Executives Ralph Reid and David Owens

Two executives at Sprint (NYSE:S) will close out the October live web chat series this week. Ralph Reid, vice president, corporate responsibility, will discuss the company's green initiatives on Wednesday, October 28 at 12 noon CT and David Owens, vice president of consumer marketing will chat with users about Sprint's exciting lineup of new devices on Thursday, October 29 at 12 noon CT.

The live chats can be accessed at http://community.sprint.com/ and questions can be submitted either during the hour-long chats or prior to them at that web address.

"Sprint is committed to leading the wireless industry in environmental responsibility," said Reid. "We were ranked #15 on Newsweek's Green list of America's 500 largest companies, we've already launched a line of eco-friendly accessories and devices including the Samsung Reclaim, and introduced a number of ways our customers can become more "green" by taking advantage of e-billing options, wireless recycling programs and visiting our green-themed website which offers tips on how consumers can help the environment."

"This year, Sprint unveiled some of the most exciting and innovative wireless devices on the market today," said Owens. "From the Blackberry Tour to the Palm Pre and just recently the Android phones, HTC Hero and Samsung Moment, Sprint is committed to offering devices that -- coupled with the Sprint Now Network -- give consumers access to a powerful wireless experience. For this reason, I'm looking forward to discussing our strategy behind these devices and answering any questions consumers may have about them."
