Reed races to set up new lithium mine

Mineral Resources will conduct a feasibility study for Reed Resources' proposed new Australian lithium mine. Under an agreement that will see Mineral Resources secure a 40% interest in the Marion operation, it will also fund the development of the project. Meanwhile, General Mining Corporation has lodged a prospectus with Australia's securities regulator to raise $A8m via an IPO, and Galaxy Resources has flagged plans to expand offshore.
