Catalyst Telecom, a distributor of voice, video and data convergence solutions, announced it has added RedSky Technologies to its line card.
Through this relationship, Catalyst Telecom said its reseller partners will have access to RedSky's E911 solutions, enabling them to integrate these solutions into their end-user customers' Avaya voice solutions. RedSky solutions can track phone locations for on-premise users, as well as mobile users with softphones or VPN connectivity; send real-time notifications of all 911 calls made; and connect a 911 call anywhere in the United States, while providing location information for emergency responders.
"The need for enhanced 911 capabilities is critical for all enterprises," said Bruce Meyer, VP of merchandising, Catalyst Telecom. "RedSky's solutions integrate with our Avaya voice solutions, allowing our reseller customers to provide an enhanced level of service - and security - to their end-user customers."
"While E911 is required by law in many states, it's a component of any enterprise voice solution because it saves lives," said Nick Maier, senior VP, RedSky. "We're happy to join forces with Catalyst Telecom and their reseller partners to help bring this critical solution to market."
RedSky Technologies is a provider of automated E911 software solutions for the enterprise.
