Tranzeo Receives US$5.4M Purchase Order from Aperto For WiMAX Subscriber Units

Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc. (TSX: TZT), a premier manufacturer of wireless broadband and WiMAX communication systems has received a purchase order from Aperto(R) Networks to deliver Aperto-branded WiMAX subscriber units. The value of the purchase order to Tranzeo is US$5.4M.

Aperto's customer base continues to expand and as the operators deploy the demand for subscriber units is increasing. Tranzeo manufactures the PacketMAX subscriber unit product line exclusively for Aperto operating in the 3GHz and 5GHz bands including the emerging licensed 3.65GHz band in the US.

The addition of the Aperto purchase order increases Tranzeo's current backlog of all purchase orders for 2009 and 2010 to US$7.4M.
