CA Inc: CA Executives to Discuss Cloud Security and Management at Cloud Computing Conference & Expo

CA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CA) today announced that two executives will present standalone sessions at the Cloud Computing Conference & Expo about how both service providers and IT organizations can help mitigate risks, such as performance, availability, change and security, in cloud environments.

Tim Brown, CA distinguished engineer and chief security architect of CA's Security Management business unit, will present ' Securing the Cloud and Establishing a Level Trust ' on Wednesday, November 4 at 5:25 p.m. PT. The session will discuss security risks in cloud computing and the need for multiple organizations to establish a level of trust and security within the cloud, to manage and protect personal and business-confidential data and information.

Stephen Elliot, vice president of strategy for CA's Infrastructure Management and Automation business unit, is scheduled to present ' Cloud Management: What You Don't Know Can Hurt You ' on Tuesday, November 3 at 2:20 p.m. PT. His session will discuss important management processes and capabilities that enterprises should consider when deploying private cloud services and buying services from a cloud computing partner. These include real-time resource provisioning, performance management, change detection, configuration management, and security.
