Juniper Networks selects BLADE to develop Junos based blade server switches

Networking software, silicon and systems provider Juniper Networks
(NYSE:JNPR) (NASDAQ-NMS:JNPR) has signed a strategic agreement with
data centre networking company BLADE Network Technologies Inc and
licensed its Junos operating system to develop Junos based blade server
switches, the companies announced on Thursday.
Under the agreement, BLADE will become the exclusive global supplier of
Junos blade server switches to server manufacturers, it will further
offer its own data centre features on these new blade server switches
and the new Junos switches will complement its own line of BLADEOS
based blade server switches.
Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Junos operating system provides a reliable, high-performance platform
for routing, switching and security, with programming interfaces and an
SDK.
