Magellan Health Services Announces Presentations at Upcoming Investor Conferences

Magellan Health Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:MGLN) announced today that members of the Company's management team will present a general overview of the Company and discuss its business strategy at two upcoming investor conferences:

-- Karen Rohan, president, will present at Oppenheimer's 20th Annual Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, November 4 at 10:50 a.m. Eastern.

-- Rene Lerer, M.D., chairman and chief executive officer, will present at the 2009 Annual Credit Suisse Health Care Conference on Thursday, November 12 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern.

Investors and the public are invited to access the conference audio and presentation materials for both conferences via live Webcasts available through Magellan's investor relations page at www.MagellanHealth.com. Those who plan to access a Webcast should log on to the Web site approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of each conference to register and download and install any necessary software.
