Netgiro Systems Signs Agreements with New E-Retail Clients

Netgiro Systems, a global payment service provider and business unit of Digital River, Inc., announced it has signed new online payment processing agreements with e-retail clients from Europe and North America.

The companies are using Netgiro's payment processing platform and cash management solution to manage payments flows for online sales in Europe, Asia Pacific and United States.

Some of the new e-retail clients include:

- Isagenix, a global producer and distributor of weight management and skincare systems;

- Verkkokauppa, an online reseller of electronic consumer goods in Finland;

- ModeLabs, a French distributor of mobile phones and accessories;

- Anastore, a European health product distributor; and

- Thunder Creek, a U.S. based producer and distributor of promotional apparel and products.

Tailored to meet the business requirements of global e-retailers, the Netgiro payment service offers a secure and centralized connection to a global portfolio of localized online payment methods, as well as cash management services, consolidated funding and centralized reporting. The company said its payment experts specialize in developing regional payment programs designed to help e-retailers extend their global reach, optimize conversion rates and ultimately drive online sales.

"In the world of online retailing, merchants selling in different geographic markets face major challenges in handling payment processing and administration. They need to centralize these functions for the sake of efficiency and cost control," said Paul Bridgewater, Digital River's vice president, global payments. "These new agreements reflect our ability to meet those needs across the broadest possible range of payment methods and geographies."
