ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Nov 02, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Company: Quest Software, Inc. (QSFT)
Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) today announced it will return to PASS Summit in Seattle, Nov. 2-5, 2009, ready to educate users on how to get the most from SQL Server investments, as well as the best way to network and get involved with the SQL Server community. Quest will also showcase its leading SQL Server administration, backup and recovery, and performance management solutions in booth 403/405, adjacent to SQLServerPedia booth 407.
Quest launched its free online resource, SQLServerPedia, at the 2008 show, and will continue to expand its efforts around education this year. A recent contest awarding a DBA with an all-expense-paid trip to experience PASS Summit for the first time, along with a "Did You Know?" booth theme, underscores Quest's dedication to educating the SQL Server community for free.
"In addition to providing great products, we feel it's important to educate users on how to get optimal use not only from our tools, but SQL Server itself," said Christian Hasker, director of product management and marketing for SQL Server solutions, Quest Software. "We continue to hear from customers and the SQL Server community that free training and information are what they need most, and many of our activities at the show will reflect our commitment to supplying these resources."
