China Security Surveillance Technology expands E-city Projects in Shaanxi Provi

China Security & Surveillance Technolog y, Inc. (CSR. NYSE), a leading provider of digital surveillance techno logy in China, Monday announced that it has signed two E-city project agreements for Huayin City and Shangluo City in Shaanxi Province, toge ther valued at approximately 2.7 billion yuan (approximately 394.7 mil lion US dollars).
The potential revenue from these two projects is expected to be rec ognized within the next three to five years.
The E-city framework agreement with Huayin City is valued at approx imately 1.5 billion yuan (approximately 219.3 million US dollars) whil e the E-city framework agreement with Shangluo City is valued at appro ximately 1.2 billion yuan (approximately 175.4 million US dollars).
The detailed execution time and value of the two projects will be s ubjected to specific agreements, and corresponding revenues will be re cognized upon the further signing and execution of binding contracts, which is expected to be carried out in 2010.
The Huayin E-city project is designed to advance the information fa cilities of Huayin City, to provide an integrated digital platform of its tourism information, to strengthen its position as a tourism desti nation and enhance regional economic growth.
The Shangluo E-city project aims to build out a fully integrated Sa fe City platform, an Emergency Response System and an Information-base d Transportation Management System to improve urban information commun ication and management infrastructure and thus speed up the urbanizati on process and economic growth in the region.
