Volkswagen Golf best-selling car in Norway Jan-Oct '09

3 November 2009 - Volkswagen Golf remained the most sold car model in Norway in January to October 2009 with 4,380 newly registered units, data of the Norwegian road federation OFV showed.

Volvo climbed up to number four on the list of the most sold brands, outperformed only by Toyota, Volkswagen and Ford. V70 is its best-selling model, ranking the seventh most sold model over the period.

The sales of new passenger cars in Norway dropped 17.8% year-on-year to 78,825 in the first ten months of 2009.
