AirTran Airways and SkyWest Airlines enter new marketing agreement

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc (NYSE:AAI), and SkyWest Airlines Inc, a subsidiary of SkyWest Inc (NASDAQ:SKYW), announced on Wednesday that they have entered a new marketing partnership.
Under the agreement, SkyWest will operate five 50-seat Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft from Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport to six destinations, with seats on these flights sold in conjunction with AirTran Airways and revenues shared on a pro rata basis.
SkyWest Airlines will operate non-stop services from Milwaukee to: Indianapolis, Indiana; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Akron/Canton, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; St Louis, Missouri; and Omaha, Nebraska, from 4 December 2009, under the new agreement.
