Resource Capital Fund II L.P. Acquires Shares of Lithic Resources Ltd.

Resource Capital Fund II L.P. ("RCF II") announces that, through Resource Management LLC ("Resource Management"), a joint actor, it acquired an additional 750,000 common shares of Lithic Resources Ltd. ("Lithic") pursuant to the exercise of options. RCF II, together with Resource Management, a joint actor, currently holds in the aggregate 6,551,908, or 18% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Lithic.

The shares of Lithic were acquired by RCF II for investment purposes. Depending upon market conditions and other factors that RCF II may deem material to its investment decisions, additional shares may be purchased in the open market or in private transactions. Depending on these same factors, shares currently owned (or hereafter acquired) by RCF II may be sold in the open market or in private transactions.
