IBM Validates Curam Software's Business Application Suite

Curam Software announced that the Curam Business Application Suite has been validated on the new IBM Government Industry Framework, as one of the first solutions for social programs and services to support this aspect of the IBM Smarter Planet initiative.

IBM said its Government Industry Framework leverages technology solutions in order to help government organizations collaborate with other agencies, community organizations and families; and provide citizen-focused social services. The Curam solution coupled with the IBM Government Industry Framework provides:

- An incremental modernization and transformation strategy that speeds deployment, providing quicker solutions to care for those in need

- Industry best practices to lower risk and enable families and children to reach their social and economic potential

- An approach to align technology and business needs with the key goals and objectives of the organization that results in positive, sustainable outcomes for citizens

- Support for adoption of open industry standards that enables organizations to leverage existing investments while providing a path for technology enhancements over time

Deploying the Curam solution on the IBM Framework, social services agencies can employ eligibility and case management functionality; a citizen self-service portal that provides anytime, anywhere access to citizens using a 'no wrong door' approach to providing services; Social Enterprise Management (SEM) solution that integrates information and processes across government agencies and provides outcomes-driven service delivery.
