VMLogix and Red Hat partner to expand virtualization platform support

VMLogix, a provider of virtual machine management solutions, has announced that VMLogix LabManager will support Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization. This combined solution will offer enterprise-class virtual lab automation solution for Linux environments.
This new partnership aims to allow customers to consolidate labs leveraging the KVM platform integrated into Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and allows for the use VMLogix LabManager to automate lab IT infrastructure in order to deliver and maintain software applications more quickly, cost-effectively and reliably, according to VMLogix.
Navin Thadani, senior director of virtualization business at Red Hat, said: "We are pleased that VMLogix will support Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization. Our Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization customers will now have access to the powerful virtual lab automation capabilities from VMLogix."
