Continental Prison Systems, Inc. (CPSI) Signs Contract With Smith County, Texas Jail for EZ Card & Kiosk services

Continental Prison Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CPSZ.PK), dba EZ Card & Kiosk, the industry leader for taking city and county jails "cashless," just signed a multi-year contract with the Smith County (Tyler), Texas, jail.

Smith County jail has 865 beds and will require three kiosks to begin with and has plans to add the EZ Exit Card in the future.

The EZ Technology line-up, which will eventually take the Smith County Jail "Cashless," includes one EZ Booking kiosk in the downtown facility, which also performs the EZ Bail service, allowing inmates to bail themselves out using cash, credit card or debit card; and a second kiosk for EZ Money Load in the main lobby of the downtown jail, allowing friends and family to place money into the inmate's trust account, using cash, credit card or debit card. Both the EZ Money Load and EZ Bail services can also be accessed remotely via a secure website or toll-free 800 number, which accepts credit and debit cards. A third EZ Money Load kiosk will be installed in the lobby at the Smith County Low Risk facility.
