British Airways reports loss of GBP208m for six months to 30 September

British Airways plc (LSE:BAY) reported on Friday a net loss of GBP208m, or GBP0.188 per share, for the six months ended 30 September 2009.
This is compared to a net loss of GBP42m, or GBP0.043 per share, for the same period of last year.
Revenues for the half-year totalled GBP4,102m, a drop of 13.7% compared to revenues of GBP4,754m for the six months ended 30 September 2008.
On 16 November 2009 British Airways will go ahead with changes to cabin crew working, after the Unite union failed to get an injunction to block the changes in the UK High Court on Thursday.
