Nuance launches T9 Nav mobile search and discovery application on Nokia Ovi Store

Speech and imaging solutions provider Nuance Communications Inc (Nasdaq:NUAN) announced on Friday that its T9 Nav mobile search and discovery application is available on the Nokia (NYSE:NOK) Ovi Store for Series 60 third edition devices.
According to the company, T9 Nav is based on Nuance's T9 predictive text technology to simplify navigation and discovery of a variety of applications, content and information.
By typing with one key press per letter from the idle screen, consumers can navigate around menu structures to easily find contacts, games, stored songs, website bookmarks or other features and services available on the device or on the operator's network.
The solution enables mobile users to find the applications and services they need, decreasing task completion time by up to 67% to enhance overall mobile productivity and convenience. It also adapts to the user's behavior to ensure delivery of relevant and accurate results.
T9 Nav is available for 12-key Series 60 third edition phones for USD4.99 on the Nokia Ovi Store. The solution features broad language support, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Tagalog, Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian.
