Toyota Ignores Runaway Vehicle Crashes (TM)

11/8/2009-According to a Times review of NHTSA records, more than 1,000 Toyota (NYSE:TM) and Lexus owners have reported sudden unexplainable accelerations and in many cases slammed into other objects. The crashes resulted in 19 deaths numerous more injuries, however, Toyota only recalled fewer than 85,000 vehicles in response to two of the eight investigations made.
