Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority receives ISO-27001:2005 Certification

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) today announced it has received ISO-27001:2005 certification for implementing global standards for the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) at the high-tech business park.

T?V S?D Management Services GmbH of Germany, a leading international service organization catering to the strategic business segments industry, mobility, and people, awarded the certification after stringent quality inspections at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), which has successfully ensured world class quality systems within its premises.

ISMS is a systematic approach to managing and ensuring the security of critical information and data. It provides a set of standards for the types of security controls that an organization should implement to recognize and address security risks by establishing controlled procedures, policies, and best practices including data capture, transfer, access and storage.
