Cypress Semiconductor Corp. to Conduct NASDAQ Opening Bell Ceremony Remotely From San Jose, California


 What:    Cypress's President and CEO, T.J. Rodgers, and other
          members of Cypress's executive team will ring the NASDAQ
          opening bell remotely from San Jose, California on
          Thursday, November 12 at 9:30 a.m. (EST) 6:30 a.m. (PST).

          With 532 NASDAQ listed companies in California and 193 from
          Silicon Valley, this event will celebrate the company's
          switch from The New York Stock Exchange to the NASDAQ
          Global Select Market. The company's stock will continue to
          trade under the symbol "CY". This transfer will be seamless
          to Cypress investors. This marks the 19th switch from the
          NYSE Group to NASDAQ this year.

          The ceremony will be broadcast live on the NASDAQ seven
          story high Tower in Times Square and via satellite to
          national and international media.

          The Opening Bell is a ceremonial event that represents
          NASDAQ's virtual market model. As a result, NASDAQ can be
          opened from any location bringing together investors and
          market participants from around the world to mark the
          beginning of the trading day.
