Harmonic's digital video solution deployed by SBU in Curacao

Provider of video solutions Harmonic Inc (Nasdaq:HLIT) said on Tuesday that Santa Barbara Utilities (SBU) has selected its digital video solutions for a new broadcast and on-demand IPTV service at the Santa Barbara Plantation Resort community in Curacao, an island in the Netherlands Antilles. Financial details of the deployment were not available.

The end-to-end IPTV deployment includes Harmonic's Ion AVc HD encoders, ProStream 1000 stream processing platform, StreamLiner video servers, Armada intelligent asset management and NMX Digital Service Manager.

Santa Barbara Utilities owns and operates a state of the art telecommunication network at Santa Barbara Plantation in Curacao.
