Kroll Ontrack Named Leading Electronic Discovery Expert in 14th Annual Am Law Tech Survey
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov 12, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Kroll Ontrack(R), the industry's leading provider of paper and electronic discovery, computer forensics and ESI consulting, jury consulting, and courtroom presentation services, today announced that it was recognized as the most used electronic discovery provider in American Lawyer's 14th Annual Am Law Tech Survey. This survey, appearing in the November issue of American Lawyer, marks the eighth consecutive year that Kroll Ontrack has been awarded this honor.
Since the survey began asking firms to name their most used electronic discovery vendor, Kroll Ontrack has won this award. Of the 110 firms surveyed in the e-discovery category this year, 52 percent of the respondents identified Kroll Ontrack as their electronic discovery provider of choice.
"Just when organizations thought they understood the impact of electronic discovery on their businesses, the economic crisis placed new burdens on corporations and their counsel. In these times, every organization is looking to handle more cases with fewer resources," said Michele Lange, director of Legal Technologies for Kroll Ontrack. "Kroll Ontrack is committed to significantly reducing litigation spend, so clients can focus resources and budgets on their organizations' success strategies. In 2009, we are truly humbled that law firms continued to choose Kroll Ontrack to serve as their valued partner when managing electronically stored information in preparation of, or response to, a dispute or incident."
The Am Law Tech Survey is available to subscribers of American Lawyer. Polling the largest 200 law firms in America since 1995, the Am Law Tech Survey aims to reveal information about hardware, software, budgets, new developments and the latest legal trends.
