Plaintree Systems Inc. Reports 2nd Quarter 2010 Results

Plaintree Systems Inc  (NPT - CNSX, PTEEF - OTCBB), today reported results for the second quarter of fiscal 2010 ended September  30, 2009, representing the sixth quarter of combined results following the amalgamation of Plaintree with Hypernetics Ltd and the Triodetic Group of Companies.

Q2 2010 Results

The consolidated revenues for the two product divisions of the Company for the second quarter of 2010 were $1,614,974 down from $5,044,416 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The net loss for the Company for the quarter was $443,696 compared to net income of $1,656,571 for the corresponding period of fiscal 2009. The reduction in both revenues and net income is a direct result of the weak demand for all of the Company's products during this recessionary period.
