ExelTech signs service center agreement with Saab for SAAB 340 aircraft maintenance

ExelTech Aerospace Inc. ("ExelTech" or the "Company") (TSX Venture: XLT), a leading aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider with operations in Montreal and Quebec City, announced today having signed a long-term agreement with Saab Aerotech of America LLC of Sterling, Virginia, currently making ExelTech the sole authorized service center in North America for the maintenance of the SAAB 340 aircraft type.

Saab has long sought a reliable source of maintenance for its North American, Latin American and Caribbean operators and has always seen ExelTech as displaying both the technical expertise and service level focus, expected by Saab to properly serve its clients in the region.

"Saab Aerotech is pleased to announce its choice of ExelTech Aerospace of Montreal, as its Saab-authorized service centre in North America. We recognize ExelTech's experience and expertise on the SAAB 340 aircraft, as well as its proximity to one of the largest aviation and aerospace sectors in North America. This makes them a clear choice to represent Saab in the region," said Robert Kline, VP Operations at Saab Aerotech of America in Sterling, Virginia.

"I am pleased that Saab has recognized our expertise and quality through this new agreement that will allow ExelTech to provide a factory approval for heavy maintenance on the SAAB 340 aircraft in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean," said Sylvain Duval, President and Chief Executive Officer at ExelTech.
