Baule brings extensive international experience to this new role having spent five years as CFO of global technology consulting firm Headstrong (previously James Martin & Co.) and nine years with Bristol-Myers Squibb, including six years as an expatriate in the Philippines and in Hong Kong. Baule began his career as an auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick.

"I am excited to be part of the company's mission to build a global educational network that provides students around the world the ability to realize their full potential."
In addition, Mehul Patel, who joined Apollo Global as Chief Marketing Officer in June, 2009, will assume added responsibility as the company's Chief Administrative Officer -- also reporting to President, Jeff Langenbach. In this capacity, Patel will oversee the company's marketing, integration, enrollment, academic affairs, technology, and human resources functions. Prior to joining Apollo Global, Patel was the President of Kaplan Professional Publishing, a division of Kaplan, Inc. In addition, Patel held prior management positions at other education companies including Thomson Learning and UNext. Patel began his career at Leo Burnett, a global marketing and advertising firm.
"Apollo Global is one of the boldest educational ventures ever undertaken," said Patel. "Not only is our vision of broadening student opportunity inspiring, but I'm also looking forward to working with Jeff and John to make it a reality as we advance the educational landscape worldwide."
"The additions of John and Mehul represent a significant milestone in Apollo Global's history," said Langenbach. "Their operational and management experience in the education industry, combined with their areas of functional expertise, adds even stronger leadership to our organization.
