Molina Medicare Leverages MedAssurant's SmartCare Disease Management Solution Suite

MedAssurant, Inc., a provider of data-driven healthcare solutions, said that Molina Healthcare, Inc., a national provider of managed Medicare and Medicaid operating in 10 states, has selected MedAssurant's SmartCare patient data and care coordination solution suite in a multi-state rollout focusing on patient clinical and quality outcomes and utilization efficiency.

With this implementation of SmartCare, Molina has selected a combination of MedAssurant's NCQA accredited disease management Chronic Care Solution known as CCS Advantage and the company's Electronic Patient Assessment Solution Suite known as ePASS. The two solutions will be coordinated through an implementation of MedAssurant's healthcare data management platform known as CareSync Advantage.
